Prof. Dr. Dilek Odacı received her BSc degree in 2002, MSc degree in 2004 and PhD degree in 2010 from Ege University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biochemistry. During her PhD studies, she worked at ENEA Rome/Italy, Fachhochschule Jena Applied Sciences Jena/Germany and Leibniz University Institute of Technical Chemistry Hannover/Germany. After her PhD, she worked at Leibniz University Institute of Technical Chemistry with a scholarship from Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS). In 2004, she joined Ege University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biochemistry as a Research Assistant. In 2012, she was appointed as an associate professor by the YÖK. Prof. Dr. Dilek Odaci currently works at Ege University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biochemistry.
She is a scientist who has 130 qualified publications in distinguished journals on biosensors, biochemistry, nanobiotechnology, nanomaterials and biofunctional surface chemistry and has over 4300 citations to her work. As a result of her high-quality work, she was awarded the UNESCO- L'ORÉAL National "Young Science Women Support Scholarship" in 2013 in the field of Materials Sciences, and the METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Parlar Research Encouragement Award in the same year, and the Fevzi Akkaya Scientific Activities Support Fund Research Support Award in 2014. She was awarded the Science Heroes Association Scientist of the Year Award in the same year, the Turkish Academy of Sciences Outstanding Young Scientist (TÜBA-GEBIP) award in 2015 and the Science Academy-BAGEP award in 2017. She was deemed worthy of the Golden Molecule Award in the “100 Turks in Chemistry” research.
Dr. Kağan KAYACI
Kaleseramik R&D Center Director
Kağan Kayacı is Director of Research & Development Center at Kaleseramik Çanakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi A.Ş, Çanakkale, Turkey. He earned his Doctor’s degree specialized in Ceramic Sciences at Istanbul Technical University in 2008. He took part in many positions in the Turkish Ceramics Industry, such as Technical Assistant General Manager, Technical Manager and R&D Manager. Kayacı authored over 30 papers on ISI-JCR journals and held four patents, along with around 90 industry – oriented publications on non-JCR journals and proceeding. He was worked as coordinator and researcher over 30 R&D projects with industries in the field of traditional ceramics.
He is a member of the R&D Committee at Association of Turkiye Construction Material Producers (IMSAD) since 2018. He has been a board member of Turkiye Ceramics Research Center (SAM) since 2013.

Prof. Dr. Murat ATES
Murat ATES received his BSc degree in Department of Chemistry Edu. at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 1997. He took MSc degree and PhD degree from Department of Chemistry and Polymer Science and Technology programme at Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He studied biosensor applications of some modified carbon fiber microelectrodes as a DAAD scholorship during his PhD studies at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany in 2006. He is working as a full professor in Department of Chemistry at Tekirdag Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag, Turkey. He has been to as a postdoc in Department of Chemistry at University of California Los Angeles, USA in 2014-2015. Moreover, He has a Nanochem Polymer Energy company at TNKU Technopark from 2022. His studies concentrates on supercapacitors and energy storage systems. Dr. Ates has published over 120 Science citation index peer review articles. He has presented ~75 oral and ~40 poster presentations at international congress and national congress. Dr Ates gave ~10 presentations as invited talk at very prestigues conferences. He has h-index of 31 and total citations of 3798 from google scholor. His research interests include electrochemistry, polymer chemistry, conducting polymers, corrosion, biosensor applications and nowdays energy storage systems (supercapacitors, and batteries).

Prof.Dr. Yasemin ÇAĞLAR
Yasemin Caglar is a Professor in Physics Department at Eskisehir Technical University since 2018. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2001 at Anadolu University. She went to Anadolu University as an Assistant Professor between 2002 and 2010 in Department of Physics, Associate Professor between 2009 and 2014 in Department of Physics, Anadolu University and Professor between 2014 and 2018 in Department of Physics, Anadolu University . She is research interests focus on organic-inorganic semiconductor, solution based film deposition methods, dye-sensitized solar cells, heterojunction diodes, thin film transistors. She has been a eight graduate student advisor. Professor Caglar has involved more than twenty projects and has more than three hundred conference papers and more than 110 peer-reviewed papers.

Dr. Attila Levente GERGELY
Attila Levente GERGELY is an associate professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Sapientia University, Romania. He obtained his BSc and MSc in Mechatronics Engineering at the Sapientia University, Romania and Transylvania University from Brasov, Romania, respectively. In 2014 he earned his Ph.D. at The University of Akron, OH, USA, in Polymer Science. During his doctorate studies he worked on developing and testing new thermoplastic elastomers by cationic polymerization. In 2015 he was the principle investigator on an NSF SBIR Phase II grant aiming to develop PEG based diagnostics for breast cancer. In 2016 he joined the Sapientia University, Romania, where he has established a Polymer Laboratory. His current research focuses on nanofiber fabrication by centrifugal- and electrospinning. He has worked on developing nanofiber mats from recycled PET, generating nanofiber based amorphous solid dispersions for drug delivery and optimizing the scape up process of nanofiber generation.
